A woman in Saudi Arabia is facing calls for her execution after a photo of her appearing in public without wearing a hijab was posted on social media. According to reports, Malak Al Shehri posted the photo of herself in the Saudi capital of Riyadh wearing a dark coat covering a floral dress, dark sunglasses — but no hijab, or abaya, a traditional body covering worn by women in Saudi Arabia. The backlash came swift and fierce with some people calling for her death and others calling for her imprisonment.

Former congressman Ron Paul revealed a list of “fake news” journalists he claims are responsible for “bogus wars” and lies about Hillary Clinton’s chances of winning the election. Journalists from CNN, the New York Times, and the Guardian are included.

“This list contains the culprits who told us that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction and lied us into multiple bogus wars,” according to a report on his website, Ron Paul Liberty Report. Paul claims the list is sourced and “holds a lot more water” than a list previously released by Melissa Zimdars, who is described on Paul’s website as “a leftist feminist professor.”

Output by OPEC oil producers has reached record levels, the International Energy Agency said Thursday, raising fears a global oil glut will continue to weigh on markets unless the cartel agrees on a cut.

Production by the 14 members of OPEC rose to a record 33.83 million barrels a day in October, the IEA said, just weeks ahead of talks aimed at hammering out a deal to curb production.

Saudi Arabia is poised to launch its first ever international bond sale on Wednesday as the kingdom turns to debt markets to help ease a fiscal squeeze from the two-year slump in oil prices.

Banks connected to the sale said the Saudis are due to conclude a transatlantic roadshow on Tuesday for the dollar-denominated bond — one of the most eagerly awaited issues this year — after which they will release initial price guidance.

China’s holdings of U.S. Treasuries fell to the lowest level since November 2012, as the world’s second-largest economy draws down its foreign reserves to prop up the yuan.

The biggest foreign holder of U.S. government debt had $1.19 trillion in bonds, notes and bills in August, down $33.7 billion from the prior month, the biggest drop since 2013, according to U.S. Treasury Department data released Tuesday in Washington and previous figures compiled by Bloomberg.
