The death toll following the derailment of a train in India’s northern Uttar Pradesh state has reached at least 115, with more than 150 injured, police say.

Fourteen carriages of the Indore-Patna Express derailed just after 03:00 local time on Sunday (21:30 GMT Saturday) near the city of Kanpur.

An online advertisement may have led to some of the violence from anti-Trump protests in Indianapolis Saturday night. The protests were supposed to send a peaceful message against last week’s election, but turned to chaos around 8 p.m. when chants turned from “love trumps hate” to “kill the police.”

“We were just trying to keep our people safe and peaceful,” said rally organizer Kim Saylor.

A follower of Islamic State was responsible for an attack last week on a Kenyan police officer outside a U.S. embassy in Nairobi, the group’s Amaq news agency said on Saturday.

A knife-wielding man whom police described as a criminal was shot dead outside the U.S. Embassy in Nairobi last Thursday after he attacked and injured a Kenyan police officer.

At least 20 people have been injured and 80 detained nationwide, a local rights group has said.
