The United States ran a merchandise trade deficit of $5,243,300,000 with Mexico in September, according to newly released data from the U.S. Census Bureau.

That completes 22 straight years in which the United States has run monthly merchandise trade deficits with Mexico.

European privacy watchdogs warned WhatsApp on Friday over sharing user information with parent company Facebook, and cautioned Yahoo over a 2014 data breach and scanning of customer emails for U.S. intelligence purposes.

Moments ago, Wikileaks just released its third data dump from the hacked email account of Hillary Clinton’s Campaign Chair, John Podesta, which is becoming a true headache for Hillary Clinton and her supporter base.

There are as many as 1,190 new emails in the latest release, adding to the more than 4,000 emails from Podesta already released by the whistleblowing website, and bringing the total to 5,336. Wikileaks founder Julian Assange has claimed he is sitting on as much as 50,000 messages.

A palm-sized robot that can hold conversations will go on sale in Japan next year, developer Toyota has announced.

Kirobo Mini, who was 10cm (4in) high, had been designed to provide companionship, the company said.

And it could tailor conversations to include comments about journeys based on data from its owner’s vehicle.
